Tyranids Hive Fleet Dragur Screamer Killer Carnifex (Black and White Tyranids) | Ragequitters.co.uk

Accompanied by a terrifying ululating shriek, a Screamer Killer thunders into support of Hive Fleet Dragur’s front line.

The unmistakable sound is caused by rasping plates in their esophagus that were used to energise a form of bio-plasma in their gut.  This is shot at their unfortunate victims burning through bone and armour with equal case.

Clouded by a shroud of spores from the cysts on its carapace, the Screamer Killer masks its advance long enough to close the distance on its prey to use its deadly monstrous scything talons in close combat to devastating effect.

This iconic carnifex was a ton of fun to paint and very happy with the final result.

Like the enhanced senses Carnifex I recently painted, I wanted to use the opportunity of the large 60mm base to some defeated guard debris.

This time, however, I wanted it to be much more sparse and therefore I included only a helmeted skull and a lasgun which gives the base some character without over-crowding it.
