First Person Shooters, we’ve all played them, it’s probably the most saturated genre in gaming. However, there are a few out there that break the mold. Take for example, Superhot. A stylised FPS in which you play a lone gunman/woman. You have to shoot, dodge, blugeon and outsmart your way through several scenarios. The hook with this particular game is that time only moves when you do. This makes for some very tense and cinematic looking skirmishes. The AI is pretty smart and shatters into glorious pieces when you take them out.
Maps are broken up into mini scenarios, that tell a story, which when complete, unlocks endless and challenge modes. I find the game has superb replayability, previously played maps can sometimes play out differently. It’s a cool game and definitely deserves your cash. You can check out Superhot on the steam store, here.
